Boardroom #2 (Room 210) AV System User Guide

Technology available

  • Monitor + remote
  • Computer (under table) and camera (top of monitor)
  • Mouse + keyboard
  • Smart board
  • Microphone (small device with microphone emblem on it)

If using the computer in Boardroom #2 (under desk):

Login:

  1. Turn on the computer. The power button is under the desk at the head of the table (chair closest to the exit).

  1. Use the TV remote to turn on the monitor (select POWER ON) at the front of the boardroom (a light should turn blue).
  2. Make sure that the monitor is on HDMI #1 (not DVi).

  3. Enter username and password to login to the computer.

    Username: tempadmin

    Password: admin1

  • For virtual meetings, log into Microsoft Teams or Zoom on the desktop.
  • The camera on top of the monitor will automatically be connected to the desktop computer.
  • Volume can be adjusted with the TV remote or on the desktop settings.

If using a laptop connected to HDMI cord:

Login:

  1. Use the TV remote to turn on the monitor (select POWER ON) at the front of the boardroom (a light should turn blue).
  2. Make sure that the monitor is on HDMI #1 (not DVi).
  3. Connect your device to the HDMI cord attached to the system near the head of the table.
  4. Your screen should now be projected on the monitor.
  • Any time you plug the HDMI cord into a device it will automatically switch to displaying its screen of it (even if someone is using the computer in the room).
  • The camera on top of the monitor isn’t accessible for this function.
