"Exciting new finding. Dr. Kym Boycott"
The uOBMRI’s Dr. Kym Boycott and fellow CHEO researchers developed the world’s first algorithm to scan electronic health records and identify children and youth who have a higher chance of having a rare genetic disorder.

The algorithm is providing much needed answers for families and access to appropriate healthcare for children and youth with rare genetic conditions. Read more about this work and the families that have been impacted in CHEO Research Institute’s article here.
