My research focuses on translating promising basic science advances to the clinic with respect to spinal cord and brain repair. This multidisciplinary, collaborative research group incorporates research advances at any stage to allow advancement towards a therapeutic strategy for patients from nanoparticles, to stem cells, to animal models, to clinical research involving patients, to clinical trials and to clinical practice guidelines.
