CIPPIC – Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic
The Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) is Canada’s first and only public interest technology law clinic. Based at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, CIPPIC's team of legal experts and law students work together to advance the public interest on critical law and technology issues.
AI + Society Initiative
The AI + Society Initiative is a research program that aims at defining problems and identifying solutions to essential issues related to ethical AI and technology development. The research leverages a transdisciplinary approach to advance AI methods and tools, with a focus on their responsible applications.
The eQuality Project
The eQuality Project is a seven-year SSHRC-funded partnership co-led by Valerie Steeves and Jane Bailey, that brings together academic researchers, community organizations, educators, policy-makers, civil society groups working with young people, and young people themselves to identify evidence-based practices and policies that promote healthy relationships and respect for privacy and equality in the networked environment.
Open AIR
The Open AIR Network, funded by SSHRC, IDRC, and Universities Canada, is a unique collaborative network of researchers in more than 20 African countries, Canada, and elsewhere in the world, with a primary goal to uncover new insights about the balance between control and access to knowledge.

We Robot
WeRobot is the premiere international conference on law and policy relating to Robotics. The conference began at Miami Law in 2012, and it returns to Miami roughly every second year, generally alternating between east and west coasts. Recent successful bids for the conference include Yale and Stanford University.
