Jacob Glick was a Distinguished Executive Fellow in Residence at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society (CLTS), University of Ottawa.

Jacob Glick is a global leader on complex issues at the intersection of technology, public policy, and law. Bringing an unmatched expertise to our community, Jacob Glick will be conducting research and be undertaking collaborative work with Faculty members and researchers at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society.

Jacob Glick served as the Chief Corporate Affairs Officer of Rogers Communications Inc. from November 2014 until March 2017. In that role, he was part of Rogers' Executive Leadership Team, responsible for Regulatory Affairs, Corporate Communications, Public Policy, Government Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Before Rogers, Jacob Glick was at Google, where he served in a number of leadership positions. He ran the Central Public Policy and Government Relations team for Google Inc. which set policy and provided research for Google's global policy team. Prior to that he established, built, and led Google Canada's Public Policy and Government Relations team.

He was also General Counsel, Director of Policy Development, and Corporate Secretary at the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) and a litigator with McCarthy Tétrault. He sat on the board of MediaSmarts, Canada's leading digital literacy organization as well as the board of the IT.Can - the Canadian IT Lawyers Association.

Jacob Glick holds a Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction and a Bachelor of Laws, both from the University of Toronto. He was the 1998 Canadian University National Debating Champion.
