Dr. Chandell Gosse was the Project Coordinator of and a postdoctoral fellow with The eQuality Project, a seven-year research partnership funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council and hosted at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society.
Before coming to work on The eQuality Project, Dr. Chandell Gosse completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, and received her PhD in Media Studies from Western University in London, ON. Dr. Gosse’s research takes a feminist and interdisciplinary approach to understanding technology-facilitated violence and abuse, misinformation, and online extremist behavior. Outside of her academic work, Dr. Gosse works with anti-violence organizations to train staff and volunteers about tech violence and abuse. She is a founding member of the Digital Public Interest Collective
