Unpacking the Foreign Interference Commission Report
On January 28, the Foreign Interference Commission released their final report presenting the findings of their public enquiry examining and assessing the interference by China, Russia and other foreign states or non-state actors, and their potential impacts on the 2019 and 2021 federal general elections.
Under the umbrella of the Alex Trebek Forum for Dialogue, the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, the Centre for Public Law and the Centre for International Policy Studies are joining forces to bring together leading Canadian experts for a critical conversation around the Commissioner Marie-Josée Hogue’s report and the legal, political, economic and policy ramifications of the findings as Canada assumes the presidency of the G7 and with general elections looming.
