Opêoluwa Blandine Agbaka is an associate professor at the Institut national des métiers d'art, d'archéologie et de culture (INMAAC) at the University of Abomey-Calavi (Benin). She is conducting a research project on heritage policies and their development in the French-speaking world.
During her time at the University of Ottawa, she hopes to adopt a cross-Canada/African perspective and highlight traditional cultures and heritage conservation practices in the French-speaking world, with the aim of establishing a typology.
This event will take place in French, with a bilingual question period.
Francophone Mobility Chair
The University of Ottawa's Collège des chaires de recherche sur le monde francophone (CCRMF) is pleased to welcome Opêoluwa Blandine Agbaka as part of its Francophone Mobility Chairs program for the 2023-2024 academic year. The chair will allow Opêoluwa Blandine Agbaka to undertake a research project on heritage policies and their evolution in the Francophonie around the world.
