Description:

In the current world of massive data, with open access and of the most diverse origins and typologies, public statistics have a special place, particularly with regard to their relationship to public policies. Based on the French example of the National Council for Statistical Information (CNIS), which promotes dialogue between producers and users of public statistics, at the centre of the governance mechanism of French public statistics, the presentation focuses on the functioning of this mechanism in monitoring the sustainable development objectives.
