We are pleased that Olabisi Akinkugbe has accepted our invitation. He is the 2024-2025 Allan Rock Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section. Olabisi is also a former HRREC student member and will reflected on his time uOttawa and his subsequent pathway.

About our speaker
Olabisi Akinkugbe is the Purdy Crawford Chair in Business Law and Associate Professor at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University. Professor Akinkugbe previously served as the Viscount Bennett Professor of Law at the Schulich School of Law and was convenor of the annual Viscount Bennett Roundtable on International Economic Law. In 2024, Professor Akinkugbe was the recipient of the Hannah and Harold Barnett Excellence in Teaching Award. 2024-2025 Allan Rock Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section. Olabisi is also a former HRREC student member and will reflected on his time uOttawa and his subsequent pathway.
