The Canadian Yearbook of Human Rights (CYHR) – published by the University of Ottawa's Human Rights Research and Education Centre – is is a bilingual (English and French) reference work on the contemporary intersection of human rights and Canada.
The 2024 edition focuses on significant developments in human rights within Canada, global human rights issues relevant to Canada, and Canada’s contributions to international human rights discourse. With its collection of high-quality, peer-reviewed articles and documentation, the CYHR continues to be a valuable resource for practitioners and academics in the field of human rights, both in Canada and the world beyond.
For its General Section, the CYHR welcomes articles written for a multi-disciplinary audience on a wide range of topics, including (but not limited to): Minority Rights, Children's Rights, Indigenous Rights, Climate Change, Cultural Rights, Environmental Rights, Digital Rights, Labour Rights, Administration of Justice, and Civil and Political Rights, all with a direct link to Canada and its domestic and international policies, laws and practices.

- Submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis through MONDAY, MARCH 31, 2025.
