From November 14 to 16, our student member Christiana Sagay attended the American Society of International Law (ASIL) Mid-Year Conference, held at the University of Chicago.

The conference brought together over 90 researchers from around the world to tackle pressing issues in international law. This important research forum provided a valuable platform for scholars to exchange ideas and explore new approaches to critical global legal challenges.

Christiana served on the Research Forum Committee, where she helped shape the program, for this year’s event. She also organized the Women in International Law Coffee Chat, fostering a space for meaningful conversation and networking among colleagues. In addition to her organizational contributions, Christiana was a discussant on the Perspectives on Statelessness panel.

The ASIL Mid-Year Conference highlighted the importance of collaboration and diverse perspectives in addressing the complex challenges we face in international law.
