Sep 27, 2024 — 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
This event is part of the Music and Health Research Institute speaker series.
Event description
This talk will examine a big pivot from music as music to music as sound stimulant. Specifically it will explore pulsed elements of music as possible doseable audioceuticals. It will look at how music and sound, when delivered to the body in targeted ways, can contribute to positive health outcomes. A model of response to music and sound will be used to understand types of applications. Recent clinical cases and research studies will illustrate the claims.
