The University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society is delighted to announce that Dr. Elizabeth Dubois will join the Assembly program at the MIT Media Lab and Berkman-Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University this spring.

Dr. Elizabeth Dubois is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication, Faculty of Arts and a member of the Centre for Law, Technology and Society at the University of Ottawa. During her tenure as one of 17 Assembly 2019 members, Dr. Dubois will share her time between Ottawa, ON and Cambridge, MA. This experience will allow her to expand her ground-breaking research on political uses of automation and artificial intelligence. She will collaborate on a project related to the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence.

The Assembly program is a collaboration of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University and the the MIT Media Lab. The program gathers technologists, managers, and policymakers to confront emerging problems related to the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence.
