Professor Jane Bailey is a Co-Investigator on a $2.5 million SSHRC Major Collaborative Research Initiative (MCRI) grant for a project entitled “Repenser le droit processuel : vers une cyberjustice” (“Rethinking Procedural Law: Towards a Cyberjustice”).

The project seeks to consolidate the emerging research on cyberjustice in the social sciences in order to develop ways to reengineer the judicial process to restore a feeling of confidence amongst litigants and to promote access to justice.

The grant is based at the Université de Montréal under Principal Investigator Karum Benyekhlef. Prof. Bailey is working on the project with David Fewer, Director of the Samuelson-Glushko Canadian Intellectual Property and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC), which is an official partner on the grant.

Congratulations to Prof. Bailey.
