On February 23rd, Dr. Teresa Scassa and Dr. Florian Martin-Bariteau appeared before the House of Commons’ Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics.

The Committee is currently engaged in a review of thePersonal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Dr. Teresa Scassa, a member of the Centre, is a Full Professor and the Canada Research Chair in Information Law at the Common Law Section, Faculty of Law. Dr. Florian Martin-Bariteau, is an Assistant Professor at the Common Law Section, Faculty of Law, and the Director of the Centre for Law, Technology and Society.
