Professor Teresa Scassa has earned the 2016-2017 Excellence in Research Award of the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section.
Dr. Teresa Scassa, a member of the Centre, is a Full Professor and the Canada Research Chair in Information Law at the Common Law Section, Faculty of Law.
Professor Scassa explores the many issues raised by the creation and access to new technologies that transform our perception of the world. Through her expertise in diverse areas, such as intellectual property, privacy, and ethics, Professor Scassa has rapidly established herself as a leader in research in this new frontier. Her research leads to interesting and dynamic collaborations with other Canadian colleagues.
