We are pleased to announce that our HRREC Assistant Director Viviana Fernandez will serve in the Association of Human Rights Institutes (AHRI) Executive Committee for a three-years term.
The election took place during the members general assembly which coincided with the 2021 AHRI Annual Conference, hosted virtually by the Maastricht Centre for Human Rights at Maastricht University, under the theme Human Rights Strategies. The organization was created in 2000 and currently has just over 80 members. The Human Rights Research and Education Centre joined the Association in 2014.
