A reminder that the new CIHR Notice of Recommendation (NOR) and Notice of Decision (NOD) templates will be used beginning with the Fall 2024 Project Grant competition. For this competition, NORs will be released on January 15, 2025, and NODs on January 29, 2025.

Dr. Michael Downey Recognized as Outstanding Peer-Review Contributor by CIHR, Along with 22 uOttawa Researchers

Congratulations to Dr. Michael Downey, Associate Professor, Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Faculty of Medicine for being deemed an outstanding peer- review contributor through the CIHR Review Quality Assurance Process
An additional 22 researchers from uOttawa and affiliated institutes were recognised by CIHR as Exceptional reviewers. This honour is limited to a select number of reviewers (19.9% of all reviewers) who demonstrate exemplary commitment to peer review.

Graduate students who incorporate knowledge mobilization activities into their research are encouraged to apply.
Winners will receive a prize of $3,000 (PhD) or $2,000 (Master’s).
