Visit to Université Jean-Monnet

The Canadian delegation, including Jacques Frémont, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ottawa and Linda Garcia, founding director of the LIFE Research Institute were welcomed by Michèle Cottier, President of l’Université Jean-Monnet, his team, researchers and local stakeholders (Gérontopôle and Saint-Étienne Métropole). The two universities signed an agreement formalizing their strong collaboration for research excellence. This approach is part of a dynamic international cooperation to answer the societal questions of three public health themes:  

• Prevention and Aging
• Movement sciences and nutrition
• Eating disorders

The agreement will allow joint projects and mobility for researchers and students from both institutions.
