Diplomas

You’ll receive an original regular-size diploma (8½ inches by 10½ inches) free of charge at your ceremony. Unclaimed diplomas will be mailed out. We’re also pleased to offer you a free digital diploma, which will be uploaded to MyCredsTM shortly after your degree has been conferred by the Senate. When it’s ready, you’ll receive an email to your @uOttawa.ca account with more information.

Any time after your degree has been conferred by the Senate, you can purchase a duplicate copy or a large format diploma (17 inches by 14 inches) through uoZone (under the Applications tab, select Purchase Official Documents). For more details about duplicate diplomas, go to Transcripts and academic documents (see “I want a copy of my diploma”).

We appreciate that some students may be experiencing financial difficulties. Although they may attend the celebration, they will not receive diplomas, certificates, transcripts or enrolment verification documents (statements of studies, statements of degrees conferred).
