This page is for University of Ottawa students who:

• have registered for courses as a non-degree student and now wish to be admitted to a undergraduate program;
• have graduated or expect to graduate soon and wish to apply to a second undergraduate program;
• were required to withdraw from their faculty and have since met the upgrading requirements;
• have interrupted their studies at the University of Ottawa for more than six consecutive terms.

• Check the admission requirements for the program(s) you’re interested in, as well as the prerequisite courses you must have passed in high school. The college or university equivalents of these courses can also count as prerequisites.
• If you were required to improve your academic standing after being withdrawn from a faculty, make sure you have met the upgrading requirements.
• Please note that the requirements listed are minimum requirements only and are subject to change. Meeting these minimum requirements does not guarantee admission.

• While most programs accept admission applications until June 1, some programs have different deadlines. It’s important for you to check application deadlines and available programs before applying.
• We reserve the right to stop accepting applications before the deadline.

• Submit your new application through uoZone. Go to the Application form for new admission section.
• You should receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application within one week of applying. Keep an eye on your junk mail inbox just in case. If you do not receive it within two weeks, email [email protected].
• Be sure to save the acknowledgement of receipt email. It tells you how to log into the uoZone student portal to track the progress of your application. It also includes your student number, user ID and password.
• Once you have logged into uoZone, check your Admission file for the list of supporting documents you need to submit to complete your application.
• For technical assistance, including with your uoAccess ID or uoZone password, please contact our IT Service Desk.

Students holding a first bachelor’s degree or honours bachelor’s degree (honours, honours with double major, honours with major and minor) from the University of Ottawa may obtain a second one by completing at least 30 units beyond the normal requirements of their first degree. All program requirements must be met.
