You must have a Prince Edward Island Secondary School Diploma with five Grade 12 courses (611 or 621). All program-specific requirements must be at the 611 or 621 level unless otherwise specified.

Your admission average, which is also used to determine your eligibility for admission scholarships, is calculated based on your five best interim or final Grade 12 courses at the 611 or 621 level, including the prerequisites for your chosen program.

Start by completing 60 credits (four semesters) in the Honours bachelor's degree at the University of Ottawa and then transfer to Algonquin College to complete the journalism diploma or vice versa.
