You must have a Yukon Secondary School Diploma with four provincially examinable Grade 12 courses, including program-specific requirements.

Your admission average, which is also used to determine your eligibility for admission scholarships, is calculated based on your four best interim or final Grade 12 courses, including the prerequisites for your chosen program.

Start by completing 60 credits (four semesters) in the Honours bachelor's degree at the University of Ottawa and then transfer to Algonquin College to complete the journalism diploma or vice versa. Students obtain both an Honours BA and a College Diploma after 4 years.
