What to expect
Our instructors and counsellors as well as our special guests are eager to meet you and offer you fun activities in a 100% francophone or anglophone environment, in person in Canada’s capital at the largest English-French bilingual university in the world!
- Activities Monday to Friday, usually noon to 3 p.m. (Eastern Time). Times to be confirmed.
- An opportunity to meet young francophones from around the country.
- Program includes language courses, interactive workshops, outings and social activities focusing on a range of exciting topics.
Who can take part
Destination Clic eligibility criteria. You must:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (study permit holders aren’t eligible)
- Attend a French-language (first language) school and be in Grade 8, 9 or 10
- Have your permanent residence outside Quebec
Students whose first language is French but don’t attend a French-language school can also apply. We may have to ask for additional documentation or to take a closer look at your camper’s file to determine their language level.
To be eligible for Explore, you must meet both of the following criteria:
be either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident (those studying in Canada on a student visa are not eligible); and
meet the institution’s minimum age requirement by the time Explore begins (ages 13 to 15, 16 to 17, or 18+).
