Hi! My name is Ilse. I'm a fourth-year anthropology student from Mexico. I'm passionate about understanding diverse cultures and societies, which is why I love meeting new people! I also enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. When I'm not exploring new places, I like to watch movies and read. I have a particular passion for Latin American literature, and I enjoy almost every movie genre (except horror because I get scared easily). I also love learning, so I cannot wait to learn from you! Hello everyone!

My name is Ayushi. I’m in first year software engineering in the French program for my undergraduate degree. I am originally from Mauritius and have been living in Canada since 2018.

During my free time, I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes to improve my cooking skills. I also enjoy doing athletic activities as hobbies: I swim for fun, play soccer, volleyball and badminton and I practiced martial arts (jujutsu) for 3 years. I love being around kids, whether it is teaching them or playing around with them.

I have experience in teaching children at Kumon, which improved my communication skills, and developed my passion for talking to people. I enjoy discovering different perspectives and learning from other people.

Hi, I’m Tania! I’m a biomedical and mechanical engineering student at uOttawa with a passion for tissue engineering and languages. I joined uOttawa as a transfer student in January 2023, and I’m excited to bring my passion for learning and connecting with people to the Julien Couture Resource Centre.
