Carrefour francophone : savoirs et pratiques

From May 8 to 13, 2025, the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI), in partnership with the Fédération internationale des professeurs de français  (FIPF), will host the inaugural edition of a Université de printemps titled Carrefour francophone: savoirs et pratiques.This gathering, designed by and for teachers as well as key stakeholders of the Canadian Francophonie outside Quebec and internationally, will consist of two main components.

The first component will involve flexible participation in the CCERBAL 2025 biennial Conference, Bilingualism and Multilingualism: Perspectives and Diverse Contexts. Three themes will guide participants through the conference programming, which will span three days: 1) Language and technology; 2) Language, immigration, and internationalization; 3) Indigenous language education and revitalization.

The second component, Carrefour francophone: savoirs et pratiques, will feature practical workshops offering specialized training. These workshops will address the specific needs of the profession while fostering the sharing of initiatives, challenges, and successes.
