In today's job market, journalists must be more versatile, with both a broader understanding of social trends and specialized knowledge. Thanks to an array of minors, this degree offers you an opportunity to apply your journalistic skills to thoroughly analyze key social issues and offer the public more insightful and powerful reporting. When you graduate, you will have the opportunity to pursue a fascinating career as a journalist, researcher, announcer or public relations officer.

This bachelor's degree is offered in English with Algonquin College and in French with La Cité collégiale. For the 2013-2014 cohort, your path will begin at Algonquin College or La Cité collégiale, where you will spend two years (75 credits) and must maintain a 70% average. Then, you will study five sessions (75 credits) at the University of Ottawa.
