Dr. Nafissa Ismail is a full professor at the School of Psychology of the University of Ottawa and the University Research Chair in Stress and Mental Health.

Speakers

Sarah Downey (MHA ’92) is a senior health-care leader with experience across a broad range of hospitals, including in community, academic and complex multi-institutional settings. She is the president and CEO of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and a world-leading research centre in this field.

Tanya Hayles is an alumna of the Faculty of Social Sciences and an award-winning TEDx speaker and creative storyteller. She is the founder of Black Moms Connection, an online global village of almost 30,000 and a national non-profit providing culturally relevant programs and resources to educate and empower the Black mother and her family.
