Mish Boutet playing a video game

Event details

Digital capacity, the ability to adopt and develop new practices using digital technologies, is one of 11 uOCompetencies, essential skills for all University of Ottawa students.

Mish Boutet, Digital Literacy Librarian, is offering this program again to support digital capacity and will be available for one-on-one consultations with students and to offer different digital experiences with the room's technologies. From artificial intelligence tools to email signatures, no digital skill is too small!

Sessions will feature virtual reality, games, data visualization, artificial intelligence tools, or other demonstrative use of the Tinkering Lab’s technologies and three large displays.

No sessions will be held during Reading Week or the exam period

Registration is not required. During operating hours, students can come and go from the Tinkering Lab (CRX C220). Everyone is welcome.
