Angel Foster recognized for career in reproductive health research

Angel foster speaks in front of an audience
Professor Angel M. Foster was recently elected a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, reflecting her deep commitment to reproductive health, evidence-based decision-making and public health policy.

Foster is a reproductive health researcher with an impressive academic background, including a DPhil from the University of Oxford and an MD from Harvard Medical School. Her outstanding career, experience leading projects in 22 countries and publication record have earned her many accolades, such as the 2017 Darroch Award from the Guttmacher Institute.

Her recent election as a fellow of the academy is a testament to her dedication to shaping evidence-based health policies in Canada.

The election took place in September. The induction may be a formal ceremony that takes place later.
