Today, political issues are multiplying and political studies are becoming increasingly complex. From the local to the international, power relationships (formal and informal) are omnipresent. Politics is a field in which ideas and actions are undeniably intertwined. How do theory and practice illuminate each other? It's worth noting that complex issues call for an interdisciplinary approach from the social sciences and humanities. It is with this in mind that we have decided to create an interdisciplinary conference on "politics from a social science perspective". Submissions dealing with politics or policy, either theoretically or practically, in the social sciences and humanities are warmly welcomed.
Proposals for papers must be sent no later than midnight on 28 February 2025 to the following address [email protected], with the word "Submission" in the title of the email. All proposals must contain the following information:
- A title, an abstract of a maximum of 250 words (size 12 Times New Roman font)
- A brief description of the author (name, contact information, university affiliation, program, and level of studies).
- 3 to 5 keywords.
We accept submissions in both English and French. Proposals relating to public administration and political science will be considered and decisions on all proposals will be made by the end of March 2025.
* Conference is free * Snacks and beverages will be provided*
