Kathleen Brady, Health and Safety Leader of the Month for March 2024
We’re delighted to announce that Kathleen Brady, senior officer, facilities planning and logistics, has been named Health and Safety Leader of the month for March.

Kathleen helped handle the move-in and setup for the Faculty of Health Sciences’ new building at the Lees campus. She took safety to heart during this time, with regard to research, administrative and public spaces. For Paul Bélanger, faculty chief administrative officer, “Kathleen is always thinking about safety and how decisions made impact the health and well-being of the faculty and staff. She continues to be a valuable team member.”

Thanks to Kathleen’s efforts, hazards have been eliminated or mitigated, and the risk of injury or illness has been significantly reduced. Our sincere congratulations to her for her shining example of integrated, team based safety leadership!

We encourage all members of the University community to continue demonstrating a commitment to health and safety in their own roles. We look forward to honouring future recipients.
