"There is no reason why fewer than 10,000 workers should be able to wreck the economy for 41 million Canadians. The platitudes of the Trudeau government have fallen along the lines of “the best settlement will come from the bargaining table, and so any intervention is counterproductive”.  That supine strategy does not work when one or both parties is not being reasonable. The NDP should be desperate for tax revenue to fund the new dental care and pharmacare programs. Their ideological rigidity works very much against their aims."

Gilles Levasseur (English and French)

Part-time Professor, Faculty of Law - Civil Law Section, and Professor of Marketing, Telfer School of Management.
