On September 26, the Julien Couture Resource Centre (JCRC) welcomed a dozen “human books.”
They were game to become a Human Library to allow members of the University community to benefit from their linguistic knowledge.
Two of the “books available to be borrowed” were Yves Pelletier, uOttawa Associate Vice-President, Francophonie, and Elena Valenzuela, Associate Professor and newly appointed OLBI Director. This annual gathering aims to shed light on the cultural diversity of European languages to celebrate the European Day of Languages. OLBI thanks all those who participated in this event!
