uOttawa promotes a safe homecoming with its 2023 Panda Playbook
The University of Ottawa invites students, alumni and the community to Pandafest – a program meant to ensure safe, respectful celebrations for the most cherished game in university football: The Panda game.

This year, all celebrations will be held on campus and a Panda Playbook was created so everyone knows the rules and can celebrate football without drawing a foul.

The University and its Panda partners, Carleton University and Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, has been working with community partners, including Action Sandy Hill, City of Ottawa, Ottawa Police Service and private security firms to ensure this year’s game and related festivities are carried out in a safe and respectful manner.  Building on the success of its annual tailgate and shuttle bus program, the university introduces a university-sanctioned post-game party on campus.

The 54th edition of the Panda Game will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at noon at TD Place.

It’s not just a Panda Game, it’s a PandaFest!
