Hungry? You don’t have to leave campus to eat the best food around! Discover all the yummy spots to choose from and get insight into the latest food dupes. There are some exciting options that rival Ottawa’s top restaurants.

Dining Hall — UCU Level 1

Not sure what you’re in the mood to eat and thinking of heading to the Rideau Centre food court? Wait! Check out the Dining Hall instead. Just pay one flat entry fee and enjoy as much as you want to eat and drink from the 10+ food stations (including vegetarian, vegan and halal options). There are also dessert and drink stations. All for one fixed price. You’ll want to come back often. There’s a new Dining Hall menu every day for three weeks.

Paramount — CRX Level 1

Ottawa is the shawarma capital of Canada, so, of course, we have some of the best shawarma right here on campus! No need to run to the Market between classes. Paramount’s got you covered.

BT Cravings — UCU Level 0 (next to Pivik)

Who doesn’t love bubble tea? And who doesn’t love bubble tea right at their fingertips? Check out BT Cravings for delicious bubble tea, original flavours and daily specials.

ChaiGuys — UCU Level 2

We know not all chai is created equal, but trust us — you don’t need to leave campus to enjoy some of the best chai in Ottawa. Visit ChaiGuys for free samples and soul-warming chai.

Pivik — UCU Level 0

Need a convenience store? What’s more convenient than a convenience store right in the heart of the campus? Visit Pivik for anything and everything from school supplies to snacks like candy and chips.

Première Moisson — FSS Level 1

Did you know there are melt-in-your-mouth croissants baked fresh daily right on campus? You don’t need to look any further than Première Moisson for high quality pastries and sandwiches made with fresh bread. Run, don’t walk!

Bac à frites — Parking Lot K (next to 90U residence)

Could we really call ourselves a Canadian university if we didn’t have a classic chip hut serving up poutine made with hand-cut fries and real cheese curds? Look no further. Bac à frites is a long-standing campus comfort food standby right at your door.

Curry and More — CRX Plaza (outdoor food truck)

Seeking the mouth watering taste of Indian cuisine? Or maybe you’re on the hunt for the best vegetarian food around? You’ll want to check out our brand-new food truck, Curry Leaves. This food truck treasure features authentic South Indian food.

Quesada — SITE Level 1

Craving fresh, delicious Mexican-inspired food? Come grab a burrito at Quesada, our campus’ very own Mexican-inspired food restaurant.

Odelees and Element Cafe — Lees and RGN campuses

Do you love the sandwich counter at La Bottega but can’t get there because your classes are at Lees or RGN? We’ve got you covered! Visit Odelees (Lees) and Element Café (RGN) for made-fresh-daily sandwiches, bowls and more!

Best kept secrets

  • There’s a pool table at the Nox Eatery and Public House (Minto Sports Complex, Level 2). Check out the Nox Rack Em Up Mondays for free pool,  and other events like Karaoke Wednesday and Trivia Night Tuesday. 
  • Get your 10th drink free when you use reusable cups. Sign up for the campus reusable cup program. You’ll also receive a 25-cent discount every time you bring your reusable cup.  
  • Flour Kitchen (food hut at the corner of University and Copernicus) is one of the best rated Chinese food restaurants in Ottawa, and it’s located right here on campus!
  • Off-campus partners accept payments using your student card. No cash, no problem! Pay using the Flex dollars on your student card!
  • Pizza 800 (SITE Level 1) offers made-to-order, fresh pizza.
