As GAIA President, I seek to create a welcoming environment in the department where all student voices are heard and advocated for at a departmental level. Additionally, my goal is to build a sense of departmental community through fun events which give students the opportunity to mingle and meet new people in the department. Furthermore, the combination of my major and minor allows me to understand a wide facet of pathways within geography, geomatics, and environmental studies, allowing me to connect with students more easily across all programs of our department. Overall, I am passionate about making the Geography, Geomatics, and Environmental Studies department a fun and safe place for all students where lifelong memories can be made.
