uOttawa (2017- NIAUT/hands-on training and 2023-Experimental Fish Course/hands-on training)
I worked for 6 years (2017-2023) in Dr. Vanderhyden lab performing intraperitoneal, subcutaneous, and intrabursal injections, tumour monitoring, pre and post op/care and monitoring, worked in CL2 facilities, chemical room, and immunodeficient facilites. My Topaz account is currently activated under my student email ([email protected]).
In 2022 worked with zebra fish, got online and hands-on training
In 2024 did:
- Online theoretical training using the Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) training modules
- Attend a 1hr Animal Care Orientation Session
Roger Guidon in the department of biochemistry, microbiology, immunology in January of 2024
For my previous training I completed the online training module and test and attended the in person presentation. For my previous experience I worked with mice, specifically performing leg muscle dissections after they were already sacrificed by the post doc in the Burelle lab.
