From 2014 to 2020, I was a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine student at Islamic Azad University Karaj Branch where I received all of my animal care and use in science training.
We had an "applied ethics" course in which we learned how to run experiments on animals ethically and without harming them. Additionally, I am a veterinary medicine graduate, so I have experience in working with animals throughout the entire duration of my education.

I completed the experimental fish course training provided through UPEI and the in-person zebrafish facility training from ACVS as I was a volunteer for Jason Berman in the Berman lab (2022-23). During my volunteer experience I worked on a project which involved working with zebrafish where I got some experience with feeding them, breeding them, and performing procedures like fin clipping.
